Description

The palm tree rope swing at Dalawella Beach is a simple yet exhilarating experience. Suspended from a tall, leaning palm tree, the swing allows you to soar over the beach and the Indian Ocean, offering breathtaking views and a thrilling ride. It's a perfect spot for capturing stunning photos and creating unforgettable memories.

However, an access to the swing is not free. It cost 500 rupees. This fee is intended to help maintain the swing and compensate its creators for their efforts.

Swinging on this swing can be challenging. It requires some strength in arms since you hang on a rope and rope burn is also fairly commom, so be prepared for that and follow staff's intrusctions.

Location

Dalawella Beach is located on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, near the popular town of Unawatuna. To reach the swing, head to Dream Cabanas guesthouse, where the swing is set up in front of the property.

From Unawatuna, you can take a short 5-minute tuk-tuk ride to Dalawella Beach. The swing is located in an alley next to Dream Cabanas, just a short walk from the beach.
